Coch Tanguy Floyde Tanga, studierte zwischen 2011 und 2018 Populations- und Ökosystembiologie an der University of Science and Technic of Masuku (USTM/Gabun). Von Oktober 2018 bis Dezember 2019 war er Forschungsassistent bei W.C.S-Gabon im Projekt Ecological Monitoring of Large Mammals (Forest Elephant bai de Langoué in Ivindo Park. Im Nov. 2019 begann er sein Promotionsprojekt im Great Apes Health in Tropical Africa, Emerging Diseases, Conservation and Prospects for Human Health (GATECEP-Projekt) im Great Apes Conservation Project in Loango (Gabun) zum Thema "Capturing the determinants of antimicrobial resistance in wild lebenden Menschenaffen".
