
Magdalena Wɫodarz
About
Magdalena Włodarz studied Biology at the University of Duisburg-Essen, with a specialization in Ecology, Evolution, and Nature Conservation at the University of Potsdam. She is currently pursuing her PhD within an interdisciplinary research project that examines the interactions between environmental factors and the health of gull populations.
Before this, she gained valuable experience as a scientific assistant at the Zoological Institute and Museum of the University of Greifswald, where she participated in various research projects, assisted with grant applications, and supervised undergraduate and master’s theses.
She has been working as a scientific coordinator at the Helmholtz Institute since June 2025. In addition to her main task in science communication, she actively supports the management.
