Anett Wagemann has been the coordinator of the One Health Platform at the Helmholtz Institute for One Health (HIOH) since May 2025. The HIOH is one of three administrative offices for the research platform OHP. The OHP was established in 2023 as a successor to the former Zoonoses Platform (founded 2009), which promotes collaboration between various scientific disciplines and facilitates dialogue between the scientific community, practitioners and policymakers. Among other things, the One Health Platform supports innovative pilot and networking projects, promotes young scientists, strengthens international networking and contributes to the further development of the One Health approach through research and travel grants.

Anett Wagemann studied business administration at the FH Stralsund and has worked in a wide variety of fields. Most recently, she spent 14 years at Greifswald City Council handling the area of town twinning and international ties, as well as coordinating activities with partners nationally and internationally.
