I’m Abhishek, and I hold a M.Sc. in Microbiology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena. I joined the Helmholtz Institute for One Health (HIOH) in mid-2025.

As a Documentation Assistant for sample management, I support the efficient organization, documentation, and storage of biological samples. My day-to-day responsibilities include addressing a variety of challenges related to sample storage and management, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability, and contributing to smooth laboratory operations.

Alongside my work in sample management, I also have occasional opportunities to put my laboratory skills into practice.

I enjoy working at the intersection of science, organization, and research support, where effective and reliable sample management plays an important role in advancing scientific discoveries.
